ICYMI: Allred Hits Six Cities in Four Days in Latest Campaign Swing

DALLAS – Last week, Congressman Colin Allred traveled across Texas making stops in six Texas cities in just four days, traveling over 1,000 miles.

The trip included visiting the boyhood home of President Lyndon Baines Johnson with his daughter Luci Baines Johnson and granddaughter Nicole Covert in Johnson City. Luci Baines told Jeremy Wallace of the Houston Chroniclethat Allred would be her father’s “dream come true.”

Allred also visited the border in Laredo and met with CBP officers, stopped in Victoria which included a local TV interview on prescription drug costs, attended the 30th anniversary gala of Fallbrook Church and Brentwood Baptist Church services in Houston and finally, participated in an interfaith Iftar in Irving led by state Rep. Salman Bhojani.
