Allred Visits Texas Panhandle to Hear from Texans Impacted by Wildfires

Fritch, Texas – This weekend, Congressman Colin Allred spent time meeting with Texans in Fritch who lost their homes or had property damaged by the recent wildfires. Allred also joined volunteers in the cleanup efforts of homes ravaged by the fire, and convened a roundtable with local officials and first responders about the damage done by the wildfires, what is needed in the recovery effort and what can help prevent future catastrophes.

“Now more than ever, Texans must work together to ensure our fellow Texans in the Panhandle rebuild and recover,” said Allred. “Texans are resilient and at our best, we always look out for one another. I am deeply committed to taking what I learned from the folks I met with, and delivering the aid, assistance and relief needed to this region.”
