Allred Outraises Cruz by Over $2.5 Million, Has $1 Million Cash Advantage

DALLAS — First quarter FEC reports filed today show Colin Allred outraised Ted Cruz by $2.5 million in the first quarter of 2024. Allred’s campaign raised more than $9.5 million and ended the quarter with over $10 million cash-on-hand, $1 million more than Cruz’s campaign had on hand.

“Having outraised Ted Cruz once again, it is clear that Colin Allred’s campaign has the momentum and broad coalition of support to beat Ted Cruz in November,” said Colin Allred for Senate Campaign Manager Paige Hutchinson. “The strong support from Texans across our great state shows Texans are ready for new leadership in the Senate.”

This total reflects the campaign’s fundraising in the entire first quarter of 2024 — combining the campaign’s pre-Primary report, which covered January 1st through February 14th, with the total of the report filed today, which covers the post-Primary period of February 15th through March 31st.
