Allred Earns Endorsement of Wendy Davis in Race for U.S. Senate

Austin, TX — Today, Congressman Colin Allred announced that he has earned the endorsement of former State Senator Wendy Davis for his campaign for U.S. Senate. 

“Few people know Texas’ challenges – and its opportunities – as well as Wendy Davis does, and that’s why I’m so honored to earn her support,” said Congressman Allred. “Wendy has been a voice for everyday Texans – particularly Texas women – for over a decade. Her combination of dogged determination and detailed policy expertise have helped shine a light on the harm that extremists like Ted Cruz have caused in Texas. From helping us fight for women’s reproductive freedom – to helping us make sure Texas kids can get a quality public education – I’m proud to have Wendy join us in this race.”
