ICYMI: Allred Travels to Dallas, Waco, Houston, and Beaumont to Meet Texans Where they Are
DALLAS – This week Congressman Allred made stops in Dallas, Waco, Houston and Beaumont, traveling over 360 miles in his latest campaign swing in his race for U.S. Senate.
On Memorial Day, Allred hosted a roundtable in Dallas with veterans and community leaders to discuss their service and the importance of expanding job training, accessible housing, health care services and facilities for veterans across the state. He also joined veterans and military families at the Carry the Load Dallas Memorial March.
In Waco, Allred sat down with KWKT, before traveling to Houston, where he joined Congresswoman Lizzie Fletcher, Harris County Commissioner Lesley Briones and Houston City Council Member Abbie Kamin to assess damage to local infrastructure caused by recent storms. He also spoke with the Texas Tasty podcast as well as ABC 13 about his commitment to protecting Texans’ reproductive freedoms.
In Beaumont, Allred hosted a meeting with local leaders and sat down with KBMT, emphasizing his support for Texas’ energy industry and his call to President Biden to end the pause on LNG exports.
