ICYMI: Allred Meets With Texans, Builds Support in Tarrant County, Dallas, Austin, and Commerce

DALLAS – This weekend, Congressman Colin Allred made campaign stops in Tarrant County, Dallas, Austin and Commerce meeting Texans where they are and continuing to build momentum for his U.S. Senate campaign. This past weekend’s travel comes after Allred visited six cities in 3 days the previous weekend.

In Tarrant County, Allred and Councilman Jared Williams joined local leaders including Ms. Opal Lee and former Dallas Cowboy Russell Maryland to discuss Allred’s plan to serve Texans in the Senate. On Saturday, Allred, alongside County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins, energized supporters ahead of a block walk shift. In Austin, Allred joined Councilman Zo Qadri and Rick Levy, President of the Texas AFL-CIO to thank block walkers for their hard work. While in Austin, Allred also had the honor of speaking at the Human Rights Campaign’s gala. Congressman Allred concluded his weekend worshiping at Kirkwood CME Temple in Dallas and meeting with students at Texas A&M Commerce, where he also gave the keynote address at the 100 Most Influential African Americans Awards Ceremony.
