Building the Campaign to Beat Ted Cruz, Allred to Report Raising Over $2.97 Million in Six Weeks, Expands TV Ads to Three New Markets

DALLAS – Today, Congressman Colin Allred’s campaign announced he will report raising over $2.97 million in six weeks on his pre-primary FEC report. Additionally, the Allred campaign expanded its television advertising into the San Antonio, El Paso and Waco markets, and is now sharing Allred’s message with voters in six media markets across the state.

Texas is ready for fresh ideas and new leadership, and Congressman Allred continues to work hard to meet voters where they are and build the foundation to unseat Ted Cruz,” said Colin Allred for Senate Campaign Manager Paige Hutchinson. “Our campaign is grateful to all the Texans who have thrown their support behind us and excited to continue sharing Congressman Allred’s story and determination to protect Texans’ freedoms across the state.”

The campaign’s expanded TV advertising is in addition to the campaign’s statewide digital advertising, and Spanish-language TV and digital program. Allred is currently the only candidate in the Senate race running paid communication programs to voters across the state on digital platforms and TV.

Over the weekend, Congressman Allred made campaign stops throughout the Rio Grande ValleyHouston and Austin and continues to travel the state meeting Texans where they are.
