Allred Launches New Spanish Ad “Opiniónes” on Ted Cruz’s Efforts to Raise Retirement Age, Cut Medicare and Raise Drug Costs
DALLAS – Today, Congressman Colin Allred released a new Spanish-language ad “Opiniónes”, holding Ted Cruz accountable for his decades long effort to raise the retirement age for Texans on Social Security and Medicare, backing plans to cut Medicare funding and voting to raise prescription drug costs.
The ad will accompany his English ad, “Pay More”, and follows his op-ed in the Rio Grande Guardian laying out the contrast between his efforts to protect these earned benefits and lower costs and Ted Cruz’s harmful policies. The ad will begin airing on Saturday, September 7th in San Antonio and McAllen-Harlingen-Brownsville TV markets and statewide on digital platforms.
