Allred Earns Endorsement from Dallas Morning News, “Allred stands apart from the field as the most capable leader”

DALLAS — Today, Congressman Colin Allred earned the endorsement of the Dallas Morning News editorial board. This is the third major newspaper editorial board to endorse Allred, who previously earned the endorsement of the Houston Chronicle and the San Antonio Express-News in his campaign to beat Ted Cruz.

Key Excerpts:

“…vast partisanship often cements intractable stances that reward conflict over responsible governance. That destructive dynamic must change, and for that reason, we recommend U.S. Rep. Colin Allred in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.’

“Allred, 40, who is in the midst of his third term representing North Texas’ 32nd District, has demonstrated strong bipartisan and pragmatic instincts.”

“Allred stands apart from the field as the most capable leader and with the most nuanced and serious policy plans. Most important, he is the singular candidate who gives Democrats hope to unseat incumbent Sen. Ted Cruz.”

“If Democrats hope to be relevant in Texas, a vote for Allred is their best shot this cycle.”
